The nomination list of International Emmy Awards is out. To the delight of Indian fans, Amazon Prime presented web series, ‘Inside Edge’ is nominated in this prestigious list. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, it is based on the cricket themed subject that stars Richa Chadha, Vivek Oberoi, Tanuj Virwani, Sidhhant Chaturvedi, Sanjay Suri, Sarah Jane Dias, Sayoni Gupta and Angad Bedi. Meanwhile, an excited Richa expressed, “Despite detractors, was always proud to be part of India’s first original series! It’s now nominated for the International Emmys! Congratulations team- especially to our team of writers, and again Excel Entertainment for having and keeping the faith!” On the other hand, Vivek Oberoi promised fans that they are coming up with the season 2 which blow everyone’s mind.

It is interesting that Inside Edge is one amongst the 44 shows across 11 categories and 20 countries that are nominated for the celebrated awards ceremony. In the ‘Drama’ category, it is competing with shows like ‘Money Heist’ (Spain), ‘One Against All’ (Brazil) and ‘Urban Myths’ (UK).
