Sophie Turner returns with her character of Jean Grey and this time she's here to unleash the dark side of hers. While X-Men is not really a very popular franchise and the makers have never established a detailed timeline for it, it continues to excite us for reasons we are yet to figure. As the trailer predicts, Jean is on a rescue mission in the shape with her other X-Men buddies when a cosmic accident results in her transformation. While this is just the brief information available from its trailer, the film's entire plot was leaked online and there was nothing innovative in that. Jean's accident in the space also results in the astronauts' ship crashing on an alien planet. And the same planet belongs to shape-shifters aliens. They then wage a war on our planet and Jessica Chastain is their leader. Thanks to her abilities, she takes the shape of a human being and starts manipulating Jean to fight her own allies.
After unleashing the horrific side of hers, makers had planned to shoot the movie's climax outside the UN Assembly where Jessica would try and kill all our world leaders. However, since the premise was already similar to another superhero movie (Civil War), they decided to reshoot it, Now the climax revolves around a train crashing site where Jean ultimately kills Jessica while sacrificing herself.
Meanwhile, Professor X leaves with Magneto and settles in Genosha. while Cyclops reopens the school as Jean Grey's School for Gifted Youngsters.
