Last Wednesday, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's much-awaited film Bharat arrived in cinema halls and immediately stormed the box office despite opening to mediocre reviews from the critics. But apart from Khan's movie, Hollywood superhero flick X Men: Dark Phoenix also hit the screens on the same day but unfortunately got overshadowed by Bharat at the ticket windows. Dark Phoenix opened to not so great reviews and then went on to register very low collections on the first day in India. The film further fell flat on Thursday and since then has been struggling to stay afloat at the Indian box office. While on one hand, Salman starrer Bharat is minting big money at the ticket windows, on the other hand, X Men: Dark Phoenix may soon end its theatrical run in India which is very disappointing especially considering the stellar star cast of the sci-fi movie.
