Avengers Infinity War went out with a bang and left us asking a lot of questions that will only be answered by Avengers 4 that will come out next year. If you have not seen Infinity War, be aware that this post will have some huge SPOILERS ahead. Okay, so Avengers Infinity War ended with the antagonist, Thanos, getting his hand on all the Infinity Stones and doing the snap. With that snap, half the living beings in the universe get obliterated, including many superheroes. Among them was T'Challa aka Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) himself, who just gave Marvel another billion dollar hit earlier this year.

The fate of his sister, the tech-savvy Shuri, was left hanging, as we don't know whether she also got killed by Thanos' snap. However, Letitia Wright, who plays Shuri, not only confirmed that her character is alive, she also hinted that she could be the next ruler of Wakanda in her brother's demise.

Attending a panel at the MCM convention, Letitia was asked how it feels to be a Disney princess (Marvel Studios is owned by Disney). She replied, "I was like, ‘what’s this Disney Princess pressure? Do I have to be perfect?’ Then I realized that everyone’s just so geeked about having a different kind of female character in the Marvel universe and the Disney universe. And there’s going to be much, much more – I’m not the only Disney Princess to come to the surface and claim that title."

As a followup to that question, Letitia was asked if she would take on the mantle of the Wakandan ruler, considering she is next to the throne in T'Challa's absence. To which, she replied, "To be comic-book accurate, yes." Make what you want of this! Avengers 4 will release in May 2019.
