Priyanka Chopra may become a Royal godmother to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby after all. Yes, you heard it right! The Desi girl is one of the contenders who could turn out to be the Godparents to the Royal baby. The Duchess of Sussex is expected to give birth in April. Recent reports suggest that a host of celebrities have made it to the list of people who may become Godparents to the Royal Baby and that list has PC's name on it too. We had reported earlier that chances of PC being the  Godmother are high. Among those listed, there are also Meghan's close friends such as Amaal Clooney, Serena Williams, and stylist Jessica Mulroney. Such is the craze around the arrival of the Royal Baby that bookies are now placing their bets.

According to Bookmaker Coral's odds on Priyanka being the godmother are at 5/1. Ladbrokes spokesman Alex Apati in an interview to a media portal said, "Famous faces are queuing up in the royal baby godparent betting but as things stand it's Jessica Mulroney who's seemingly a shoo-in for the honour."

Princess Eugenie is 5/1 and Prince William is 6/1 are also in the running. Interestingly, Priyanka Chopra and Princess Eugenie both are at the same odds of becoming the Godmother to the child. Back in October, when Kensington Palace had released a statement about Meghan's pregnancy, Priyank said she was really excited. "I think this is a new phase in every woman's life, and I hope hers is as amazing as she wants it to be," the Baywatch actress told People magazine.

Well, we are just happy that all's well between Meghan and PC. After all the rumours about their friendship hitting a rough patch, PC becoming the godmother would definitely change things.
