Viola Davis has graced the cover of Variety magazine which has been aptly called, 'Bold and Beautiful'. The actress, who is one of the rare in the industry and the only black actress to get the 'Triple Crown of Acting', looks every bit powerful in the magazine cover. In her candid interview with the magazine, the actress opened up about the pay disparity but not based on gender but based on colour. She stated, "Hispanic women, Asian women, black women, we don't get paid what Caucasian women get paid. We just don't."
The actress who will soon be seen in the upcoming film, 'Widows', talked about her Wonder Woman obsession as she stated, “She could transform into this superhero and just get a job done,” Davis said of Wonder Woman. “It wasn’t about her trading in her femininity or her intelligence. She wasn’t vindictive toward other women. She was just her.” More on her role in Widows, Davis added, “I always associate it with someone or something that I’ve known or been exposed to in the past,” she said.
