Venom: The Last Dance was released in theatres on Friday, October 25. The movie, starring Tom Hardy, is the final instalment in the much-loved Venom trilogy. The story follows Eddie Brock and his symbiote friend Venom as they team up to take on an extraterrestrial threat from the latter's world, promising an action-packed experience to audiences. The final trailer for Venom 3, which dropped on September 12, saw a bunch of symbiotes heading down to earth as Venom gears up to face off against them. Apart from Hardy, the superhero film also stars Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Peggy Lu, and Alanna Ubach, among others, in key roles. ‘Venom The Last Dance’ Trailer: Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock Channels Tom Cruise’s Airbus A400M Stunt From ‘MI5’ – Here’s How.

As the movie hits the big screens in theatres worldwide, critics who have watched it have shared their reviews online. The superhero film received mixed reviews from critics who called it a "fun watch". Another critic shared that the movie survives completely on the engaging second half. However, the climax may seem "unacceptable" to all sections of the audience. Check what the reviews say about the Kelly Marcel film.

Bollywood Hungama: "Tom Hardy is at ease like before and he's most entertaining in scenes where Eddie has to pretend that no alien exists in him. Chiwetel Ejiofor lends able support. Stephen Graham does fine but his character is horribly wasted after a point, especially when so much time is spent on establishing his track. Rhys Ifans (Martin Moon) leaves a huge mark. Alanna Ubach (Nova Moon) and the actors playing their children are fine. Juno Temple and Clark Backo lend able support. On the whole, VENOM: THE LAST DANCE rests on a paisa vasool second half although the climax might not be acceptable to all sections of the audience. Nevertheless, the popularity of the series and the encouraging advance sales will ensure that the film has a decent performance at the box office, despite the big Diwali releases next week."

News 18: "At its core, Venom: The Last Dance feels like a buddy movie, focusing less on Venom’s escape from his threats and more on his bond with Eddie. The film explores their relationship deeply, making them the absolute center of the story. Marcel gives the audience enough time to bid farewell to Venom without dragging the narrative. Beyond Eddie and Venom, Marcel also delves into the subplots, allowing the supporting characters to make an impact. The movie’s ending and the mid-credits scene do offer a sliver of hope, hinting at future possibilities that Sony might explore, potentially paving the way for Spider-Man 4. However, only time will tell how the production house handles what comes next."

Times of India: "The superhero outing has its emotional and funny moments, like the opening scene at a Mexican bar when Eddie whines about the multiverse or Eddie and Venom proving to a young boy aliens are nothing to be scared of. The action and VFX is on-point, as the viewer marvels at the greatly-detailed and monstrous Xenophages, and their ultimate face-off with Venom. The film leans heavily into fan service, and the bromance between Eddie and Venom is enjoyable. However, in terms of overall engagement and thrill, it's likely a one-time watch."

Moneycontrol: "What works well for the final part of Venom trilogy is the action sequences—there is an underwater chase sequence, a Venom-possessed horse galloping through Nevada desert and an explosive finale at a desolate Area 51. What does not work as much for the film is a lacklustre plot that leaves much to be desired. There are no twists or sudden surprises—just a finale that goes exactly how you'd expect. Is ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ a fitting conclusion to the trilogy? Maybe. But it is strictly average as a standalone Marvel film. Rest, as Venom says (in a meta wink), “I am done with this multiverse bullshit." ‘Venom – The Last Dance’ Trailer: Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock Bids Adieu to His Symbiote Buddy in Marvel’s Final Franchise (Watch Video).
