Toy Story 4 Has Already Beaten Avengers: Endgame - Here's How!

Toy Story 4 has managed to get a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, beating biggies like Marvel's Avengers: Endgame!

Disney Pixar's fourth instalment of the most-loved animated franchise, Toy Story is all set to arrive in theatres on June 21. Although, the film has already successfully beaten some of the biggest films of the year such as Avengers: Endgame when it comes to its Rotten Tomatoes ratings. Despite coming nine years after its prequel, Toy Story 4 has successfully entertained the critics who had almost bid a goodbye to the franchise with Toy Story 3 after it was considered to be the final film in the animated film series. The Pixar films have enjoyed a massive fan base and the first two films from the franchise already enjoy a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

What's surprising is that Marvel's Avengers: Endgame which almost seemed like the biggest film of this year not only box office wise but also when it came to audience reception, has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 94% with as many as 468 critics reviews.

Toy Story 4 has managed to get a 100% score with all 80 reviews giving it a positive response. The Disney-Pixar film has left critics happy with its usual humour and many have agreed that it forms as the perfect ending to the franchise. Heaping praises on the film, The Times wrote, "Sweet Lord, this is good. You know that you’re in the presence of genius when the first five minutes of what is ostensibly the third sequel to a 24-year-old children’s cartoon about talking toys is revealed to contain more depth, more thought-provoking content and more soulful passion than any Hollywood movie released this year so far."  Toy Story 4 Movie Review: Critics Love the Film's Visual Appeal and Humour But the Lacklustre Story Disappoints.

The film directed by Josh Cooley brings back the voice actors from the franchise Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack among others. It is slated to release in India on June 21.
