However, the makers failed to justify the hype surrounding the film and the result was them presenting a half-baked cake. However, despite receiving such harsh reviews, The Nun is performing well at the box-office. After enjoying a huge opening of Rs 8 crores, the film collected Rs 10.20 crores on Saturday, taking its total to Rs 18.50 crores. The Nun is facing stiff competition from last week's Bollywood release Stree. Ironically two horror movies are currently fighting the box-office battle and minting money individually. However, The Nun's bad word of mouth may restrict its growth in the coming week and that will affect its future business.
