The most awaited movie in the entire Conjuring Universe, The Nun released this Friday. We had some high hopes pinned on this prequel that was touted as the scariest movie in the entire universe. However, the makers failed to justify the hype surrounding the film and the result was them presenting a half-baked cake. However, despite receiving such harsh reviews, The Nun is performing well at the box-office. The Nun is facing stiff competition from last week's Bollywood release Stree. Ironically two horror movies are currently fighting the box-office battle and minting money individually. However, The Nun's bad word of mouth may restrict its growth in the coming week and that will affect its future business.
