After surpassing the Rs 50 crore mark in the first three days itself, The Lion King is now heading towards the coveted Rs 100 crore club at lightning speed. Announcing the film's updated figures, well-known trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, "#TheLionKing is a SURE-SHOT HIT... Crosses ₹ 75 cr... Excellent trending on weekdays... Biz will skyrocket on [second] Sat and Sun... Fri 11.06 cr, Sat 19.15 cr, Sun 24.54 cr, Mon 7.90 cr, Tue 7.02 cr, Wed 6.25 cr. Total: ₹ 75.92 cr. India biz. All versions."
Also, Boxofficeindia.com has reported, "The Lion King may well be the leading film this week as well. Even if one of the new releases manages to somehow surpass it on day one then it will for sure be the top film on Saturday and Sunday as growth will be exceptional like the first weekend." Two new Hindi films are arriving in cinema halls this week. Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Judgementall Hai Kya is finally releasing tomorrow alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon's rom-com Arjun Patiala. While the former has got the masses excited, the latter may struggle to find an audience at the theatres.
