Disney's newest offering The Lion King has set the box office on fire and how. The Hollywood biggie has been running successfully in cinema halls for the last 10 days and has now joined the coveted Rs 100 crore club as well. Directed and produced by Jon Favreau, the live-action animated movie released in India on July 19 and immediately got cash registers ringing. According to Boxofficeindia.com, The Lion King has emerged as a blockbuster in India and it has also recorded the second-highest second-weekend collection for a Hollywood film ever. The movie is heading towards the Rs 150 crore mark and will comfortably reach the milestone within a week as its trending better than Bollywood films at the Indian box office.
