The reunion of the Jonas Brothers took the internet by storm. And the video of their first song after the reunion, Sucker, got the netizens talking! It was such a fervour to see the Jonas Brothers come together onscreen and perform. But what brought about this decision to reunite after about five years? Surely, the brothers have a story to tell here too.
In a recent interview on an Australian radio show going by the name, Smallzy's Surgery on Nova 969, the three brothers exclaimed how a reunion in Australia helped bring the band together! On the same, Nick Jonas said, "Australia was actually a big piece of the puzzle because, at that point, we had been filming a documentary for about two or three months and really just starting to unpack everything," and further added, "For us, it goes back a lot further just 'cause the way things ended back in 2012, 2013 was really complicated, both as family and as Brothers. So it took some time to get into it all and like I said, unpack it."

Nick continued on how as the brothers met more often, they realised how things were great for the Jonas Brothers band. "Kevin surprised Joe and I by showing up, which was a big thing in our conversations, just the transparency of saying, you know, your willingness, Kevin, to get on a plane and go wherever we might need to go in this new chapter, given that you've got a family," Nick said. "Cut to a month and a half, two months later. At that point, I was engaged, so it was sort of like our realities were colliding and shifting. It's just been insane, and I think the biggest year of growth for us as brothers and as a band."

In an interview on The Elvis Duran Show, Kevin Jonas stated, "I was kind of more focused on my family and raising that and kind of wanting to spend the time doing that which was so gratifying but now to be able to come back and do this as a family again, and honestly bringing them along with us is going to be such a different day," and added, "And I think just being able to support each other in our individual life lives and then also just what we care about and not think that that's a deterrent from the band, it's more part of it, and that kind of shows in the video."

Nick added that the plan to make a documentary resulted in the brothers' reunion. "It started about a year ago, almost exactly," he said. "And initially, it was about filming a documentary. So we wanted to tell our story, you know, where we came from, kind of what happened on our journey back then together, and then where we are now. And in that, I think we just started to spend a lot of time together, filming again, and I think we realized that there was a magic when we were together that we missed, you know, and and we felt like something different always happened we were together." They sure are magic!
