David Leitch's The Fall Guy is a romantic action-comedy that is a tribute to Hollywood's stuntmen and thus has quite a few opportunities to make meta jokes on pop culture, celebs and the industry's way of working. This results in her trailer looking like a mess. So when Hannah Waddingham enters the scene - she plays Gail, the executive producer of the movie Jody is directing - she looks at the chaotic situation of the trailer (Colt had gone hiding then) and remarks, "It’s like Amber and Johnny were just in here".

It doesn't take much of a genius to understand that the joke was made on exes Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's notorious domestic spats, which later turned into a highly publicised courtroom trial. This joke, however, didn't go down well with some viewers who are unhappy about The Fall Guy trying to make fun of what is a domestic abuse incident.
