The Eternals is hands down one of the most awaited projects of Marvel. The film's ensemble cast includes some big names such as Angeline Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden and Kumail Nanjiani among others. Ever since its announcement and the recently released first footage, it looks like the film is going to be a new rage after Avengers. Actor-comedian Kumail Nanjiani who recently bid adieu to the popular show Silicon Valley as it ended its run after six seasons, is all set to enter the superhero universe. The Eternals First Footage: Marvel’s Kevin Feige Gives a Glimpse of the Superhero Epic at CCXP in Brazil, Reactions of Fans Will Leave You Excited. 

The Big Sick actor has gone through a shocking transformation for his role in the film and recently showed off his hard work in the gym with a shirtless picture on Instagram. Nanjiani share a picture flaunting his ripped physique and left users in shock. He wrote, "I never thought I’d be one of those people who would post a thirsty shirtless, but I’ve worked way too hard for way too long so here we are. You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. I found out a year ago I was going to be in Marvel’s Eternals and decided I wanted to transform how I looked."

I never thought I’d be one of those people who would post a thirsty shirtless, but I’ve worked way too hard for way too long so here we are. You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain. I found out a year ago I was going to be in Marvel’s Eternals and decided I wanted to transform how I looked. I would not have been able to do this if I didn’t have a full year with the best trainers and nutritionists paid for by the biggest studio in the world. I’m glad I look like this, but I also understand why I never did before. It would have been impossible without these resources and time. So big thanks to @grantrobertsfit who started working with me at the beginning of the year and made me understand true physical pain for months and months. Then, once we started shooting, a massive thanks to @davidhigginslondon and his team (@ellispartridge, @thebeardypt, @tomcheesemanfitness) for training me almost every day and making me strong, limber and injury free. I can almost touch my toes now. (And thank you for forcing me to do cheat meals David.) Matthews Street Catering for their delicious and healthy meals. In the post, Kumail thanked his trainers and also apologised to his wife Emily Gordon saying, "And finally, the biggest thanks goes to @emilyvgordon for putting up with me complaining and talking about only working out and dieting for the last year. Kumail's post invited a lot of comments from his friends and colleagues including Queer Eye star Tan France who wrote, "ARE YOU FU***G KIDDING ME? I AM LIVID." While his Silicon Valley co-star Thomas Middleditch commented, "Who are you?"

As for The Eternals, Richard Madden will be essaying the role of Ikaris, Gemma Chan is Sersi, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Salma Hayek as Ajax and Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo. The Eternals directed by Chloe Zhao is slated to hit the screens on November 6, 2020.
