"If necessary, we'll call on the dinosaurs." Yes, that's one of the dialogues from Chris Moriss' upcoming satirical comedy The Day Shall Come. The film stars Marchánt Davis, Anna Kendrick, Danielle Brooks, Denis O'Hare, Kayvan Novak, Jim Gaffigan, Miles Robbins, Pej Vahdat, Adam David Thompson, Mousa Kraish, James Adomian, and Malcolm M. Mays in key roles. The long-awaited follow-up to 2010's jihad satire Four Lions, The Day Shall Come tells the story of Moses (Marchánt Davis), the impoverished leader of a small religious commune in Miami. Moses is offered cash to save his family from eviction, but little does he know that the money has been put up by Anna Kendrick's FBI agent, who plans to turn him into a criminal. The film is a typical Chris Morris outing with a touch of absurdity and black comedy. Speaking about the film, Morris recently said, "The Day Shall Come reflects how institutionalized paranoia corrupts our thinking. Throughout the West, the Global War on Terror, now so baked in it no longer requires a name, has eroded freedoms it was declared to protect."

The film is inspired from real-life instances of the director. So far the film has picked up strong reviews on the festival circuit and is also likely to show up at the London Film Festival in October. The cast is extremely impressive and Anna Kendrick surely makes an impression as the FBI agent in this one.
The Day Shall Come opens in US cinemas on September 27 and in the UK on October 11.
