Actor-writer Terence Graham Parry Jones aka Terry Jones passed away at the age of 77. The news of the Welsh artist came as a shock to the fans and the other industry members. The social media platforms are flooded with tributes and condolences messages for him. The ‘Monty Python’ star left for the heavenly abode after battling with dementia. John Cleese who was a part of his iconic show Monty Python was devastated and wrote a note on Twitter dedicated to him.
John wrote, "Just heard about Terry J. It feels strange that a man of so many talents and such endless enthusiasm, should have faded so gently away...Of his many achievements, for me the greatest gift he gave us all was his direction of 'Life of Brian'. Perfection Two down, four to go." Filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie too took to the social media platform to share his thoughts on the late actor. He wrote, "The magnificent Terry Jones has died. Hollywood Reporter quoted his family's official statement as ,"Terry passed away on the evening of 21 January 2020 at the age of 77 with his wife Anna Soderstrom by his side after a long; extremely brave but always good-humoured battle with a rare form of dementia, FTD.” The late star is survived by his second wife, Anna Soderstrom, and their daughter Siri.
