'Terrifier 3' Movie Review - One of the Nastiest Horror Movies Made!

Here's what critics have to say about the third instalment of the Terrifier franchise.

IndieWire says, "Terrifier 3 is decking the halls with a triumphant celebration that’s horrifying for all the right reasons and snaps into focus what it is that Leone does singularly well. That may or may not win people over, but it shouldn’t lose any repeat customers. Beautifully rendered, oozing with belief in itself, and boasting an unbelievable final act, Art the Clown’s holiday extravaganza (which, yes, comes complete with an original Christmas carol) might be more naughty — but Terrifier never tried harder to play nice."

Dread Central says, "Terrifier 3 is a blood fest that will test your gore fortitude. Whether it’s the severed limbs or casual cannibalism, something is sure to make your knees tingle during the runtime. It’s the ultimate thrill ride for horror fans during the spooky season. How long will you look at the screen when the camera doesn’t cut?"

Slash Film says, "Terrifier 3 is truly unlike anything else out there right now, and for jaded horror fans hoping to be jolted into feeling something, anything, about the slasher genre in an age where many filmmakers just repeat the greatest hits, this kind of a transgressive, gonzo audacity is a nasty cattle prod to good taste. And even if that's not your thing, that's healthy for the genre in the long run, right? Horror was never supposed to be nice."

Speaking of the gory opening scene, the director of Terrifier 3 told LAD Bible about how, in even reading about the scene in the script, 'Hollywood' had refused to fund the film. He said, "Mark my words, I guarantee you the first five minutes of this movie is going to be very controversial. But that's not even the big kill scene. So that's why I was like, I need to just make this movie on my own, because it's too insane. If you thought Art the Clown's reign of terror in part two was extreme, you haven't seen anything yet."
