The Terminator is back. And so is Sarah Connor. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton are returning to Terminator series, with the latter reprising her role from the first two ones. The pair will be reuniting on the screen after 35 years, last having worked together in James Cameron's Terminator 2: Judgement Day. A new batch of stills was released today by the makers and the internet is going berserk. We get to have the first look at the ageing character of Arnold, who plays the man on whom the original robot, in the first film, was based. Linda's Sarah Connor has aged. The upcoming movie, titled Terminator: Dark Fate, aims at redoing the storyline, eliminating the last three films from the timeline. Arnold Schwarzenegger Pens Heartfelt Post for 'dear Friend' Linda Hamilton.

Terminator: Dark Fate will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgement Day and will take the story forward. This comes after an unsuccessful attempt at starting a new trilogy with the last film, Terminator: Genesys. Tim Miller, whose previous work includes Deadpool, is directing the film. Talking about the return of Linda to the franchise, Tim told IGN, “What makes or breaks a movie is whether I care about the characters when everything starts exploding. I’m sure every action filmmaker says that, but I did really try and focus on the relationships of these characters to one another. And the fact that Linda came back makes this particular Terminator fresh, this story could only continue with her in the role of Sarah Conner. That’s the most important thing for me,” He added, “Linda reinvented this character in a way that both honors who she was before and brings something new to the role.” Initially Approached Arnold Schwarzenegger as Anti-hero for '2.0': Shankar.

Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta. The details of the characters played by them are yet to be fully revealed. But they all do get pictures in the fresh batch. From the picture, it looks like Mackenzie's character will have an endoskeleton. Gabriel plays the villainous terminator this time around.
