Sylvester Stallone is returning to his Rambo franchise for one last time. He'll mark his return as Rambo in the fifth instalment of the series later this year. Titled Rambo: Last Blood, the movie is done with its shooting and ready for a release. Earlier the makers had no locked in a release date but they finally announced September 20, 2019, as the date when we'll finally get to see Stallone as John Rambo. Lionsgate announced on Thursday the official release date of the final chapter that started in 1982. Rambo Producer Andy Vajna Dies.

This is Stallone fifth's movie in his iconic series. The last film in the same was released in 2008. And today, after 11 years, the makers are back with its new chapter where he'll bid adieu to his beloved character. The story is about him fighting a Mexican cartel over a terrifying sex trafficking ring. "Rambo teams up with a journalist to track down and rescue a group of local girls that have been kidnapped by a Mexican sex trafficking ring, after trying to settle down to a quiet peaceful life stateside at the family ranch in Arizona after spending decades abroad," reads the official synopsis of the movie.
