Stephen Laurel 'tWitch', an American freestyle hip-hop dancer, choreographer and actor died by suicide on Tuesday (Dec 14). He was 40. The deceased's wife, Allison Holker Boss, confirmed his death in a statement to a popular entertainment portal. Reportedly, he passed away in a Los Angeles hotel room from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was popular for featuring on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as a co-host. Early Life
In 2000, Stephen "tWitch" Boss graduated from Lee High School in Montgomery, Alabama and studied dance performance at Southern Union State Community College in Wadley. However, it was his stint on So You Think You Can Dance?, which made him famous. It was after this, that he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Career
Reportedly, Stephen started DJing on Ellen's show in 2014 and was with her until the show ended in May 2022. Later, he had become an executive producer on the show in 2020. Further, he tried his hands on acting and showed off his dancing skills. Step Up and Magic Mike XXL, are two films he featured in. Stepen with wife Allison also hosted Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings together on Disney+.
Personal Life
Stephen and his wife, Allison Holker together were seen in the competition series So You Think You Can Dance? and Dancing with the Stars. The couple married in 2013 and have three children. The couple also marked their ninth wedding anniversary this week.
