Marvel lost its pioneer on Monday as Stan Lee passed away at a Los Angeles hospital, stated a family attorney. The comic artist who soon paved way for mainstream comics breathed his last on November 12, but not without leaving a marvellous set of superheroes to look up to. By creating Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, the X-Men, the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, he gave children a reason to grow up strong.
Every comic of his that transpired into mainstream cinema only made the fandom bigger and stronger. And with every film that came out from the Marvel Universe brought him closer to the actor who played the superhero caricatured by him. He made dozens of TV and movie cameos as well dating back to 1989. A touching tweet with his signature sign-off "Excelsior" marking his birth and death year was shared.

For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!!"

My hope is there’s a big comic book shop in the sky, and Jon Schnepp is giving Stan Lee a very sweaty tour. #RIPStanLee

Born before Edwin Hubble discovered the expanding universe, he ultimately created an expanding universe of his own - one of scientifically literate superheroes such as Spider-Man , The Hulk, Iron Man, & Black Panther.

At age 7, I drew this weird portrait of Stan Lee and asked my Mom to send it to him. Thankfully she didn't because 30+ years later, I got to give it to the great one in person. Thanks for all the fun Stan #Excelsior pic.twitter.com/IpfYBSjWyf

We will miss the real-life superhero who brightened our lives with his phenomenal storytelling and ideologies that don't deserve us. He made normal actors superheroes that children look up to and so do adults. Hopefully the final Avengers movie might have the classic Stan Lee cameo.
