Did you sleep well last night? 'Cos we didn't and we blame Tom Holland for it. The first trailer of his sequel to Spider-Man Homecoming was released yesterday and we were literally jumping with joy (Okay, we still are). The trailer that unveiled Spider-Man's new enemy, Mysterio and the one that's not restricted to the US anymore, Far From Home is likely set after the epic Avengers: Endgame. How? Well, we do know that there's no clear reference about the year when Peter will take on Mysterio but there are certain clues or should we say scenes that should more or less answer all your queries. Take Tony Stark's absence from the trailer as a classic example. Fans are sobbing continuously and wondering about Iron Man's fate, courtesy no mention of him in Far From Home trailer. That further proves if his fate is sealed in Endgame and we'll have to bid adieu to this genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist. If no, where was Tony all the time while his prodigy was fighting some supervillain in London?
I’m not going to speculate simply because my mind automatically goes to the worst possible thing. Especially when it comes to Tony b/c @MarvelStudios has never treated our boi right. But if he dies, that’s some shitty writing & even shittier storytelling. Honestly. #tonystark

Another clue is when Tony Stark's driver, Happy Hogan says 'We're all alone' in one of the scenes. He may be hinting at Tony Stark's death and how Tony has to fight his war alone without any guidance of his mentor. And lastly, Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige confirmed if the movie is set before or after Avengers: Endgame. He revealed that Far From Home will see Peter struggling after the aftermath of Endgame. "What is it like to try to go back to a normal life after what happens in this movie [Infinity War]? Not to mention what happens in the next [Avengers] movie," he had said. "It’s fun to see that because he can represent, you know, the world as a whole, as they try to move forward," Feige added further. However, knowing how Marvel lied about Endgame's title, it would be wise to not believe in anything they say.
