Spider-Man: Far From Home is spelling magic at the US box office. The film managed to rake in massive numbers ever since its opening on July 2 and soared further over the Fourth of July Holiday. It has managed to bag the highest six-day collection ever for Sony Pictures.
Marvel's latest film, Spider-Man: Far From Home finally hit the screens and it looks like the Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal starrer has taken off a brilliant start at the box office. The film's collections managed to exceed the numbers expected by Sony and it is a happy surprise that the film is doing way better than expected. The film opened on July 2 in US theatres and has now collected $185 million domestically. It has earned $395 million internationally, and the worldwide total for the film currently stands at $580 million. In terms of other box office records, the film also managed to set an all-time opening six-day record for Sony Pictures and has also set the record for the best six-day opening for any Spider-Man film.
Much of the credit also goes to Avengers: Endgame which released in April. The film being the final instalment in the Avengers series bagged a huge audience and now seems to have helped keep the momentum high for crossover films.
