The Marvel Universe has another cap in their feather with their last filmy outing. Tom Holland-Zendaya starrer Spider-Man: Far From Home has surpassed the $1 billion milestone for worldwide grosses. It is the first installment in the franchise to reach this figure and only second movie by Sony. The flick is the sequel to 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming. Also, it is the 40th movie to cross $1 billion mark. Amid its own universe, it is the third film after ($2.79 billion) and Captain Marvel ($1.13 billion) to do so. Marvel Phase 4: Six Superheroes or Superhero Teams Whose Absence in Kevin Feige’s Future MCU Movies and Shows Is Baffling!.

The film is the continuation of the story after what was shown in the blockbuster film, Avengers: Endgame. Naturally, the fans were extremely curious about the life after the death after certain much-loved Avengers and how the young Peter Parker takes on the responsibility. The film received rave reviews from the critics and the fans, collectively.

On the other hand, the Marvel movie makers recently dropped the list of films that are in store in Phase 4. The announcement was done at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. However, amongst the long list of the films, there was no mention of the Spider-Man franchise anywhere and we wonder whether we will get to see the next installment, directly in phase 5. In the next phase, you will see films including Black Widow (2020),  The Eternals (2020), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2021), Thor: Love and Thunder (2021).
