Currently, Tom Holland's Spider-Man doesn't exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after having disintegrated at the end of Avengers Infinity War by Thanos' snap. But that hasn't stopped Marvel and Sony Pictures from green-lighting the sequel to the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming. Of course, Tom Holland is playing the lead in Spider-Man: Far From Home, with the other cast members from the first film like Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon andTony Revolori. Samuel L Jackson and Cobie Smulders also bring their characters of Nick Fury and Maria Hill for the sequel (they, BTW, have also been disintegrated by Thanos' snap).

Jake Gyllenhaal has been roped in to play the main antagonist, Mysterio. But it looks like there is going to be another popular Spidey villain in the movie. In his recent Instagram post, Tom Holland is seen taking a selfie video where he talks about performing stunts in the film. In the background, a man is shown splashed away by a jet of water from a constructed set.

Fans are speculating that the water stunt is done by Hydro-Man, a villain who has been changed by an experimental underwater generator to become an angry torrent of living water.

Tom Holland has been known for accidentally dropping spoilers about unreleased Marvel movies. So much that, Marvel never shares the complete script of any film with Holland, along with fellow defaulter Mark Ruffalo.

So did Tom Holland really let out a huge hint or was it all a planned stunt? Is Hydro-Man a villain in Spider-Man sequel? Waiting for the official Marvel announcement on this!
