The first trailer of Sonic the Hedgehog, which was released a few days back, triggered a wave of internet heat, as the netizens could not stand the Sega mascot's character design in blue colour. The character which has been adopted from the speedy video game hedgehog barely resembles with the movie version, for it has ghastly human teeth, buff legs and oddly small feet. However, the good news is, because of this internet alarm, the makers have heard the concerns and have vowed to alter the character’s design in time for the film’s release.
The director of the film, Jeff Fowler, took to his Twitter handle to announce the changes that will happen in the film. He assured the fans that the studio will bring the necessary changes to the movie version of Sonic and will do justice to the character. “Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear... you aren't happy with the design & you want changes. It's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be... #sonicmovie #gottafixfast,” tweeted Jeff.
