The children’s book series are titled as Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (1981), More Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (1984), and Scary Stories 3: More Tales to Chill Your Bones (1991). This American film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark is based on these children's book series of the same name by Alvin Schwartz. This spooky feature film is all set to release in the US on August 9 this year by Lionsgate and CBS Films.
