The film has certainly impressed critics, and many think dedicated fans will find it riveting, with many even calling it a great tribute. In case you're thinking of checking out the film and would like to see the reviews first, here are some you can take a look at.
Bloody Disgusting - Saw X delivers a franchise high, and that’s no small feat ten installments deep. There’s a comfortable sense of awareness and humor found in a sequel that utilizes its pared-back simplicity to showcase the characters and gore. Whether you’re new to the franchise or a diehard fanatic, Saw X is an easy recommendation this Halloween season. Welcome back, Jigsaw.
Times of India - Tobin Bell is outstanding as Jigsaw and essays the never-seen-before side of his personality with great aplomb. He excels as a terminally-ill man as well as a ruthless killer. For the niche viewers who enjoy gorefest, this is a treat and a powerful addition to the series. It’s also a good one to introduce new fans to the genre. It’s sick and slick and would be best enjoyed in all its glory on the big screen.
IGN - If you just want back-to-back gnarly kills with very little story, you’re going to have less fun with this one. Almost 20 years into the franchise, Saw X showcases an emotional depth that manages to take one of these stories higher than ever before. Make no mistake, though, the traps are still on full display and Jigsaw still has full intent to showcase the true evils of humanity.
