Here's why Sophie Turner's Dark Phoenix is losing its battle to Salman Khan's Bharat already.

Salman Khan fans are busy counting the days for his next big release, Bharat. The movie is all set to hit the screens on Eid, June 5, but Sophie Turner's Dark Phoenix won't let it rule the box office entirely. The latest chapter from the X-Men Universe unveils on the same day and though the fight is not severe, it can't be taken lightly either. While the Dabangg actor's fans are busy booking entire theatres to ensure Bharat gets a stupendous opening, Sophie Turner's Dark Phoenix is nowhere in the race. Reason? No availability of its shows yet. Salman Khan's Bharat Opening with more than 4000 Screens in India is Making us Worried About Sophie Turner's X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

When we tried to book the tickets for Dark Phoenix, we were shocked to realise that multiplexes are yet to allot any shows for that. While the advance booking for Bharat is going on in full swing, the same hasn't even started for Turner's next. The movie is barely two days away from its release and ideally, the booking should have been opened by now. When we got in touch with a theatre chain to ask them if this was a goof-up, they informed us about the unavailability of 'schedule'. Since they don't have an updated schedule about the film's show timings, viewers will have to wait for one more day to book their favourite seats. Salman Khan’s Eid Releases: Know The Box Office Report Of Bharat And Salman’s Other Eid Releases.

Also, the embargo on Dark Phoenix's Hollywood reviews is not lifted yet. While such superhero outings always generate enough buzz, the same is not the case with Dark Phoenix. Neither the film critics nor the usual audiences are making any noise on Twitter and that's a real mood dampener. While its shows are expected to open tomorrow, do not expect it to have any mind-boggling business on its opening day. Good word of mouth may eventually work in its favour provided the content is really good.
