Salma Hayek Shares a Picture with Game of Thrones Star Kit Harrington, Says She's Excited to Work with Him in Marvel's Eternals

Salma Hayek definitely made headlines when she was announced as one of the main leads in Marvel's Eternals. The Grown Ups 2 actress will join the likes of Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden and Kit Harrington in this much ambitious project and she's clearly excited for same. "I still can’t believe that I’m working with #jonsnow! Kit you’re the best!!!", she tweeted while sharing a picture of the British actor and her future co-star. Speaking about Eternals, the movie will be based on comics series created by Jack Kirby and it revolves around a group of superpowered and nearly immortal beings. When ET asked Salma about her involvement in this multi-starrer and when did she sign on the dotted line, the actress said, "I’ve known for a long time. I’ve known since March (2019). We have to keep it a secret and it kills you. It’s like the most amazing thing that can happen to you, but you cannot tell anyone.”

Speaking about her character in Eternals, Salma in her same interaction said, “Chloé [Zhao], the director, has approached the leadership a little bit more [with a] deeper connection. So it’s like a family and I’m like their mother, and they’re all beautiful in different ways.” The shooting for Eternals will start in 2019 and the movie is expected to hit the screens on November 6, 2020.
