This summer is going to be the season of spies and superheroes for Indian audiences. Currently, Avengers Infinity War is having a golden run at the box office being the first Hollywood film to cross Rs 200 crore in India. Now it is all set to have some tough competition from another superhero property. The much anticipated Ryan Reynolds-starrer Deadpool 2 is releasing on May 18 and going by the early reactions, 20th Century Fox and Disney looks to have a winner. The general consensus is Deadpool 2 is better than the first movie.

So going by the high anticipation the movie has among the Indian fans, Deadpool 2 is opening its advance screen bookings from Sunday itself in India. If you remember even Avengers Infinity War had done the same when it came out in April. The advance collections were so good that the movie registered a 905 occupancy on opening day. Let's see if Deadpool 2 manages the same feat.

Deadpool 2 is going for the same R-rated fun as the first movie, only with a bigger scope and cast. Josh Brolin, who played Thanos in Avengers Infinity War, is playing the anti-hero Cable in the movie, a mutant from the future. While Morena Baccarin, TJ Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapičić, Leslie Uggams and Karan Soni return from the first movie, the new cast includes Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, Terry Crews, Lewis Tan, Bill Skarsgård and Rob Delaney.
