What would we not do to get a movie that features both Wolverine and Deadpool? I mean a movie other than X-Men Origins: Wolverine which sucked the fun out Deadpool by the climactic battle. Deadpool 2 did try to undo that damage in its mid-credits scenes. But seems like that is all there is going to be for us when it comes to seeing 'Pool and Wolverine in the same frame. Because Hugh Jackman, the guy who plays Wolverine, has flatly refused the idea. And for that Ryan Reynolds has called his co-star selfish and we totally agree. Fine, the story is not as serious as I am making it sound.

Ryan Reynolds, who is gearing up for the PG 13 re-release of Deadpool 2 this Christmas, took to his Twitter to take a dig at Hugh. Ryan shared a news piece which says that Hugh is not up for a Deadpool-Wolverine crossover. He added in the retweet, "I see @RealHughJackman is no longer allergic to selfish." Hilarious.

Screen Rant published a report talking about Hugh's apprehension on a movie and quoted him saying,  "Ryan is relentless. He keeps coming back to me in all these ways, shapes and forms, I just said, ‘You know, I just don’t think the world really wants to see Deadpool with Wolverine.’ Maybe a cameo from Deadpool? I just think it runs over it for Deadpool."

Coming back to Ryan's dig, we totally agree that Hugh is no longer to selfish. Because unless he was selfish why would the actor keep the fans of Wolverine and Deadpool from having a crossover movie? The silver lining here is that at least we can still look forward to a cameo. Maybe in the upcoming X-Force movie?
