Riverdale Star Luke Perry Hospitalised Following A Massive Stroke
Luke Perry who is popular for his role on Riverdale has suffered from a massive stroke and is currently under observation in an LA hospital.
Actor Luke Perry reportedly suffered a massive stroke on Wednesday morning at his LA home. According to reports, Perry has now been hospitalized but his condition is still unknown. The actor's rep has confirmed saying, "Mr. Perry is currently under observation at the hospital.” Luke Perry currently plays the role of Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews, on The CW’s Riverdale. He has also been a part of the popular TV series 90210.
Perry's filmography also includes guest stints on Criminal Minds, Major Crimes, Community, Body of Proof and Will & Grace. He also appeared in the original 1992 film version of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Reportedly, Perry's stroke comes the same day as the announcement of the revival of 90210 starring original cast members Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Jason Priestly, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling and Gabrielle Carteris.
The original ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ series aired from 1990-2000 before getting a reboot on another network several years later.
