Rihanna Beats Madonna And Beyonce To Be Forbes' Richest Female Musician

Please don't stop the music as Rihanna celebrates becoming Forbes' Richest Female Musician. Interestingly, most of her recent earnings don't come from her music career but also from her fashion and beauty ventures. In a report shared by Forbes, the music icon s worth a whopping $600 million which puts her ahead of her contemporaries, Madonna (who stands at $570 million), Celine Dioon (at $450 million) and Beyonce (at $400 million).

As per the report, Rihanna's Fenty Beauty Line managed to amass a staggering business with over $100 million sales in it's first few weeks of launch. The brand further brought more than $570 million in revenue which upscaled the estimated worth of Fenty to more than $3 billion. Obviously, this has led to Rihanna making good money from the brand. Research analyst at Jefferies, Stephane Wissink told Forbes, “Not only did [Fenty Beauty] achieve meaningful sales, but it potentially changed the industry permanently.” While her beauty line is doing tremendously well, it is not the only venture that RiRi wants to work on.

Just recently, Rihanna collaborated with Savage x Fenty lingerie line and announced Fenty Maison line. Clearly, Rihanna plans to make it big in the fashion and beauty industry. With this, RiRi has become the first black woman to lead a fashion house at LVMH and start her own brand at the said company. In a statement when the fashion house was announced, Rihanna wrote, “Mr. Arnault has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits,” and added, “I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”
