Washington D.C, January 02: It's indeed a happy new year for singer Ricky Martin and his husband and painter-visual artist Jwan Yosef as the two welcomed a baby girl into their lives.

The 47-year-old singer took to his Instagram account to mark the New Year's Eve with the happy announcement of welcoming their daughter and named her Lucia Martin-Yosef. Khloé Kardashian Gives Birth To A Baby Girl; Video of Newborn’s Cheating Father Tristan Thompson Kissing Another Woman Go Viral.

"We are beyond happy to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Lucia Martin-Yosef. It has been a special time for us and we cant wait to see where this stellar baby will take us. Both her beautiful brothers and me and Jwan have fallen in love with Lucia," he wrote alongside a photo of the little one, which featured her wearing a rose-coloured onesie and holding one of her fathers' hands. Martin is already the proud parent to 9-year-old twin sons Matteo and Valentino, whom he is raising with Yosef.

"My kids ask me about having two daddies and I tell them we are a part of a modern family. This is a beautiful sense of freedom," Martin told Out magazine.

Lucia's birth announcement comes almost a year after Martin announced the special news of secretly tying the knot with Yosef.

"I'm a husband, but we're doing a heavy party in a couple of months. We exchanged vows, and we've swear [sic] everything, and we've signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything . It feels amazing! I can't introduce him as my fiance. I can't. He's my husband. He's my man," the star told E! News in January.

Martin and Yosef met on Instagram. The two began dating in 2016, and the singer revealed on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' in November 2016 that he had popped the big question. Earlier this year, the duo also admitted that they are hoping to expand their family in the future.

"I want four more pairs of twins. I would love to have a big family, but there's a lot going on at this moment, a lot of work, wedding. It's a lot going on so we're going to put things in order first and then we are going to get ready for many more kids," Martin said in January on the Golden Globes red carpet.
