Friends of Meghan had arranged a secret baby shower and it was hosted by Serena Williams. The event was attended by Meghan’s closest celebrity pals. The lavish event included guests such as Amal Clooney, Jessica Mulroney, Abigail Spencer and many others. But Meghan’s BFF Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ absence from the event left everyone curious. There were various speculations going on, on why Nick Jonas’ lady love Priyanka must have given the Duchess of Sussex’s baby shower a miss. A source close to the global icon revealed to TMZ that Priyanka had a hectic schedule in Los Angeles. She apparently was tied-up with meetings for a book that she is writing.  And let’s not forget, Priyanka is also being considered for becoming the godparent of Prince Harry and Meghan’s child. Meghan Markle’s secret baby shower was held at the Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. As per reports, the hotel's penthouse was booked for the event. Stay tuned for further updates.
