Rapper Mac Miller who made headlines for his publicised breakup with singer Ariana Grande this year passed away on September 7. The death comes just a few months after rapper XXXTentatcion passed away in July. An autopsy on Mac's body is pending and a cause of death has not been determined. However, according to TMZ, Miller died of a possible drug overdose in California on Friday. The rapper was known for drug addiction and was recently involved in a car accident. On August 21, the Los Angeles Attorney's Office had filed charges against him for driving under the influence of alcohol, reported The Hollywood ReporterPlease Respect Our Privacy: Mac Miller's Family.

Miller collaborated with big names in the music industry included 'Maroon 5', singer Pharrell Williams, and even did a tour with rappers Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz. His debut album 'Blue Slide Park' in 2011 topped the music charts.

When Ariana was blamed for his arrest, she publicly spoke about her breakup and the toxic relationship she was a part of. She said, I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be," she said in a typed message posted on social media. Grande said she had "tried to support his sobriety" for years, and was praying that he "figures it all out".
