The much-awaited live action sci-fi film Pokemon: Detective Pikachu trailer is here. The animated film presented by Warner Bros has the voice over of Deadpool fame Ryan Reynolds as the photorealistic version of everyone's beloved, Pikachu. The film also stars Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom fame Justin Smith in a crucial role. The trailer shows us how a boy with the help of Pikachu, goes on a mission to search his missing father. “Chasing clues together through the neon-lit streets of Ryme City — a sprawling, modern metropolis where humans and Pokémon live side by side in a hyper-realistic live-action world — Pikachu and [a young man (Smith) investigating the disappearance of his father] encounter a diverse cast of Pokémon characters and uncover a shocking plot that could destroy this peaceful co-existence and threaten the whole Pokémon universe," reads the official synopsis by Warner Bros. The trailer also gives us glimpses of other popular Pokemon characters which our TV sets for years.
