BTS ARMY is dazed and confused as the People's Choice Awards 2019 snubbed the Korean pop band. For the uninitiated, BTS managed to snag three nominations at the People's Choice Awards for musical categories such as Best Music Video, Concert Tour, or Favorite Group. The pop band did have a tough competition with the likes of Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers, BLACKPINK, and Ariana Grande in the same category. While the BTS ARMY was confident that their votes will get the pop band the coveted trophy. Needless to say, the ARMY took over social media with hashtags like ThePeopleChooseBTS and ARMYsChoiceBTS trending on Twitter. On the microblogging site, fans expressed their dismissal of the People's Choice Awards this year. They are really not happy that the band didn't receive even a single trophy. Some put out statistics claiming how BTS has broken records time again and definitely deserves at least one recognition from the three categories where they were nominated. Many fans even asked People's Choice to do some explaining as they shared some statistics of votes received by BTS and BLACKPINK. So far none of the BTS members has reacted to the People's Choice snub. Perhaps the fact that fans are already making their power known on social media is enough proof they need to validate that they are the real people's choice! Many have called the PCAs rigged and we sure would like to know if they've got some explanation to these fan allegations. The glittery night saw some impeccable looks donned by celebrities. Oh and mind you, BTS did not attend the show as well!
