The biggest night for Hollywood, Oscars 2019 are all set to take place in Los Angeles and everyone has been hooked on to make predictions about who will turn out to be the big winners. The 91st Academy Awards will be streamed in India on February 25, 6.30 AM IST onwards. Celebrating the finest in cinema, the Oscars this year have some great films competing with each other in the Best Picture category. While everyone is picking their favourites, director Karan Johar took to Twitter to share his predictions for this year's wins.
The director posted a tweet, sharing his predictions about the four big categories of Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress. He tweeted saying, "My Oscar prediction!! Roma for best film and best director! Rami Malek and Glenn Close in the acting categories! #oscars."

Roma directed by Alfonso Cuaron has been one of the most-talked-about films at this year's Oscars. The Netflix film has become the first ever to get a nomination in the Best Picture Category. It will be facing stiff competition from other nominees such as A Star Is Born, Black Panther, The Favourite, Bohemian Rhapsody, Vice, Greenbook, and BlacKkKlansman. While many have placed their bets on Roma, it will be interesting to see if the Foreign Language film does win. As per Karan's predictions, if Rami Malek bags an Oscar for his portrayal of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, it will mark his first Academy Award win. The actor has in this award season bagged a BAFTA and a Golden Globe for the same film. As for actress Glenn Close, The Wife star has already won a Golden Globe this year and is one of the strong contenders for this year's Best Actress win.
