The 2018 Academy Awards or the Oscars are always a ceremony to look forward to for ardent movie-buffs. The nominations of these awards also garner equal interest as much as the ceremony. Fans root for their favourite movies and actors from the year gone by and want to see eagerly if they have made it to the list. The final ceremony will happen on the 4th of March but starting today, the nominations will begin and the event will be live streamed. You can tune into all the details:

The nominations for all the technical categories will be announced at 6.52pm IST. The other nominations for the actors in leading role, actors in supporting role etc will be announced by 7.08 pm IST. Priyanka Chopra along with Rosario Dawson, Rebel Wilson and Michelle Rodriguez will come together to announce the contenders. Girls Trip breakout star Tiffany Haddish and Andy Serkis, who had performance-capture roles in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and War for the Planet of the Apes last year, will be hosting the nominations special from the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles.

The announcement of nominations will also be a globally live-streamed event. It will be announced on Oscar.com, Oscars.org, digital platforms of the Academy.
