Quentin Tarantino's next is Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. The buzz around the movie has been very strong ever since it was announced. The revelation of the stellar cast and the first trailer only added to the buzz. The movie had its premiere at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2019 and is one of 21 titles competing for the prestigious Palme d'Or. Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt starrer centres on the story of a TV actor and a stunt man, in the year 1969, who cross paths with the Manson cult. The movie has impressed the critics. Quentin Tarantino has once again delivered a piece of art that will go down in the history of cinema.

The Guardian gave Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 5 stars out of 5. They wrote, "It’s shocking, gripping, dazzlingly shot in the celluloid-primary colours of sky blue and sunset gold: colours with the warmth that Mama Cass sang about." Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio Will Always Cherish Working With Late Actor Luke Perry.

Firstpost gave the movie 3.5 stars out of 5, and wrote, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood builds slowly, accumulating characters and taking various detours before unraveling in a batshit-spectacular fashion. Its climax will leave you in a delirious Dopamine-rush, the kind of which only Tarantino can induce,"

The Hollywood Reporter, wrote, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is uneven, unwieldy in its structure and not without its flat patches. But it's also a disarming and characteristically subversive love letter to its inspiration, in which Tarantino rebuilds the Dream Factory as it existed during the time of his childhood, while rewriting the traumatic episode often identified as the end of that era."

Variety was the most critical of movie. They wrote, "...For much of “Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood,” Tarantino brilliantly uses the presence of the Manson girls to suggest something in the Hollywood cosmos that’s diabolical in its bad vibes. And the way the movie resolves all this feels, frankly, too easy. By the end, Tarantino has done something that’s quintessentially Tarantino, but that no longer feels even vaguely revolutionary. He has reduced the story he’s telling to pulp.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is due for a release on 26 July in the US, 14 August in the UK and 15 August in Australia.
