Hold your breath Mission Impossible fans, Ethan Hunt is back! Yes, Paramount Pictures chose a super awesome moment to release the Mission: Impossible – Fallout trailer during the Super Bowl on February 4, unveiling its superstar protagonist Tom Cruise in action. The Hollywood action hero is reprising the role of an American spy in the sixth instalment to be released on July 27, 2018. Tom Cruise is his badass self (albeit getting hurt a lot, a LOTT) in Christopher McQuarrie’s film. However, the good-looking actor is likely to face a tough competition in grabbing eyeballs from none other than Henry Cavill aka Superman in his moustached avatar. Get ready for Mission: Impossible – Fallout because it's bigger, grander with never-seen-before action sequences.

“The end you always feared is coming, and the blood will be on your hands. The fallout of all your good intentions,” Sean Harris is heard saying in the beginning of the trailer. In the last Mission Impossible film, Ethan was chasing Syndicate, a near-mythical organization of rogue agents headed by Solomon Lane. And once again, the hero of 22-year-old franchise is running against time after a mission has gone awry. Now, this should not surprise MI fans as they are well versed in Ethan Hunt’s missions getting jeopardised before he finally saves the world in the end. Nevertheless, what makes Mission: Impossible – Fallout a much-anticipated big release of the year is the introduction of Henry Cavill and of course the Cruise’s level of badassery.

Cavill who has etched his mark in our hearts as Superman, god of planet earth. But the beefy hunk is ready to surprise his fans in a new role – a mysterious August Walker. His moustache is on full display and DC fans will understand why it is such a big deal. After all, it was Cavill’s moustache that was shaved off digitally using CGI only to look botched up in Justice League film. Nevertheless, the results look fantabulous with the actor not only flaunting his facial hair but also flexing his muscles in the trailer.

Coming back to our beloved protagonist, Cruise as Ethan is on fire. It is almost unbelievable to see the 55-year-old jump down the buildings, dangling from a helicopter, getting shot by Rebecca Ferguson and still driving the car into her, crashing multiple times and being thrown off almost every vehicle possible. He is as fit as a fiddle and it is crazy to think of the serious injuries (he broke his ankle during the MI6 shooting) Tom Cruise has endured.

Despite all odds against Ethan in Mission: Impossible – Fallout trailer, it is nice to see his trusted aides (buddies) Luther Stickell played by Ving Rhames and Benjamin "Benji" Dunn played by Simon Pegg by his side. Rebecca Ferguson will reprise the role Ilsa Faust and Alec Baldwin as Secretary Alan Hunley. Amongst the new cast, Vanessa Kirby, Sian Brooke and Angela Bassett join the Mission Impossible franchise along with Cavill. Uh, yes, MI:6 also has Ethan's beloved wife, Julia (Michelle Monaghan)!
