Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are still mourning the loss of her Malibu home that the couple share which was recently burned down due to the horrific Woolsey Fire that raged through California. Although the couple along with the animals they share are all safe and sound, the aftermath of their Malibu home isn't a sight you'd want to see happen to your house.
Both Liam and Miley donated money towards the Malibu Foundation that aims to offer relief assistance and rebuild communities. Taking to Instagram, Miley shared a before and after picture of their Malibu home with a caption, "Our home before and after the devastating #WoolseyFire," Cyrus captioned one of the photos. "Please donate anything you can to @malibufoundation in hopes to restore Malibu's magic."
In another Instagram story, Miley stated, "Any amount is greatly appreciated!" she added in another post. "The deepest sense of community and love is surrounding those who have lost their homes. Being one of them, that connection is irreplaceable and can never be taken in a way as devastating as this..."
After losing their gorgeous Malibu mansion to the Woolsey fires, the couple made a rather generous donation to the Malibu Foundation through Miley's Happy Hippie Foundation. On the same, a statement was released by her foundation which wrote, "Miley and Liam lost their home but are very grateful to be safe along with their animals!" the statement read. "Their community and state are very special to them and they want to give back to the place that has created so many beautiful memories for themselves and others. They are donating $500,000 to The Malibu Foundation through Miley's charity, Happy Hippie, in hopes to restore Malibu’s magic."
