After a decade long of dating each other, the two tied the knot on December 23, 2018 in a private ceremony at their Nashville home in Tennessee. The then couple did share pictures of their low-key wedding affair on Instagram and took netizens by surprise. But the next big shock was when Miley’s rep confirmed that the duo has decided to part ways. On August 10 Miley confirmed about the separation and on August 21 Liam filed for a divorce citing ‘irreconcilable difference’. Miley has shared a post on social media in which she has denied cheating on Liam, and also mentioned she loves the Australian actor and always will. This post has been shared by the pop star days after sources claimed that she was spotted ‘basically having sex’ with Brody Jenner’s ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter.’

On August 19 a source revealed to PageSix.com that Miley Cyrus and her new flame Kaitlynn Carter were seen at Soho House in West Hollywood. The source was quoted saying as, “They were obsessed with each other. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other. They were kissing and making out everywhere. In the bathroom, at the bar, in the middle of the floor. They were basically having sex. There’s no question they’re together.” The source also mentioned, “They were making out all over the place, and didn’t care who saw.” Well, it is after this report, statement on Liam Hemsworth filed for a divorce with Miley Cyrus splashed across the internet.

After Liam Hemsworth filed for a divorce, there were also reports stating that his decision has left Miley Cyrus disappointed. Soon after it the pop singer shared a post on Instagram that read, “But the truth is, once Liam & I reconciled,I meant it, & I was committed. There are NO secrets to uncover here. I’ve learned from every experience in my life. I’m not perfect, I don’t want to be, it’s boring. I’ve grown up in front of you, but the bottom line is, I HAVE GROWN UP. I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will.” The 26-year-old also wrote, “BUT at this point I had to make a healthy decision for myself to leave a previous life behind. I am the healthiest and happiest I have been in a long time.  You can say I am a twerking, pot smoking , foul mouthed hillbilly but I am not a liar.”

Speculations on Miley Cyrus’ relationship status started after she was photographed kissing Kaitlynn Carter. Separation between Broody Jenner and Carter broke out days before these pics of Miley with the latter hit the internet. There are also reports stating that Liam Hemsworth is currently spending time with Australian actress Isabel Lucas.
