The couple apparently had mutual differences and they believed staying apart would bein their best interest. However, their decision to part ways won't be followed by a divorce filing any time soon. A report in People suggests that Miley won't be filing for divorce as the couple still has some hopes for reconciliation.

After the singer's rep confirmed this harsh news, a source close to her insists on them going on a break temporarily. "They are having a break right now because they needed it. It was a bad situation with a lot of disagreements,” said a source to People. Now, this does remind us of Ross and Rachel from Friends when the former insisted on them being on a break. Yes, even you can hear his voice ringing in your ears currently.

Since the couple was in an on and off relationship before they tied the knot, this shouldn't surprise their fans and they shouldn't lose their hopes either. "They are having a break right now because they needed it. It was a bad situation with a lot of disagreements,” clarified an insider while revealing they haven't omitted the idea of getting back together. "They are great together when they are happy. There is absolutely hope that they will get back together again," the source said further.
