This year, McCarthy has been nominated for Oscars 2019 in the Best Actress category for her leading role in biographical drama Can You Ever Forgive Me?. In the movie, McCarthy plays author Lee Israel, an author who, after falling on hard times, turns to forgery to make a living. The actress has earned a reputation as one of Hollywood’s most fearless actresses after her stellar appearance in the hit 2011 comedy Bridesmaids.
