Riverdale star Luke Perry passed away in the wee hours leaving everyone shell- shocked. Luke suffered a stroke a few days back and was hospitalised for the same. Fans and his co- stars were praying for his speedy recovery when the sudden news of his passing away made its way. The actor was only 52 and it is still hard to believe that he is no more. Luke played KJ Apa aka Archie Andrew's father, Fred Andrews in Netflix's Riverdale. Before being cast in Riverdale, Luke Perry was most popularly known for his role in the TV teen drama series, 90210, that ran from 1990 to 2000. He also appeared in movies like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Redemption Road, and Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise. Luke's final appearance would be in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time in Hollywood. His character Fred Andrews continues to be a part of the Riverdale show, though we are not sure if the makers would write out the character or replace him.
