If you have grown up on a staple diet of That's So Raven and Lizzie McGuire, chances are high that you are a well-rounded individual today. Chances are even higher that you can't stand the series and movies that are dished out to teens today. But thankfully, after That's So Raven's return earlier, Lizzie McGuire is also set to make a comeback into our lives. At least, the kids will have something substantial to watch. The superhit sitcom starring Hilary Duff, that originally aired from 2001 to 2004, is all set to be rebooted at Disney Plus. Another good news comes from the shoot of the series today; Lizzie's BFF Gordo is also returning.
In a video posted on Instagram, by Disney Plus, Adam Lambert, who played the role all those years ago, is officially reintroduced by Hilary. All grown up, but the two are just as charming as ever. Here's What Happened when Hilary Duff Showed Her Kids 'The Lizzie McGuire Movie'.
Hilary also took to her Instagram to share a picture of her reunion with Adam. She wrote, "It feels so basic saying something that’s been shouted at me almost my whole life buuuut......hey now, hey now"

Also, to be noted in these pictures, Lizzie is back to her early 2000's swagger. When Hilary had posted pictures from the sets earlier in October, fans were left surprised to see her wardrobe upgrade. Some even said that Lizzie won't dress up like that. But, guys. everyone grows up, right? And with Lizzi's wardrobe is also for grown-ups. But seems like there is something for everyone in the reboot, looking at the new-old wardrobe in the new pics.

But while relishing on the good news, let us not forget the sad part about the reunion. Gordo and Lizzie won't end up together. It has been revealed that Lizzy would be engaged to someone else in the series. In an interview, Hilary had said, “You know what, I don’t know if I was as devastated by that. I feel like them [Lizzie and Gordo] not being together is what was so good,"
“It’s that one person that you’re like, 'Was he the one? Is it ever going to be?' You’re always kind of wondering. We wanted it to hurt everyone a little bit, and it’ll continue to hurt," she added.
