Leonardo DiCaprio is well-known for his environmental activism. The Academy Award-winning actor leaves no opportunity to spread awareness and talk about the effects of climate change. When Leonardo won his first ever Oscar for Revenant in 2016, the actor made sure to make a powerful statement about climate change with his speech. The actor recently took to Instagram to share a post on the acute water shortage crisis in the Indian city of Chennai. Situated in the Southern part of India, Chennai is currently facing one of the worst water crisis as the four main water reservoirs that supply water to the city have run dry.

After BBC covered a story on Chennai's water crisis, the Titanic star reposted it and wrote, "We can change the world."

A couple of days ago, the actor had also shared a video posted by the World Economic Forum which showed the sorry state of garbage disposal in India. According to the report, the rubbish dump will soon rise higher than the Taj Mahal. Climate change is a cause of concern and the state of the water crisis in Chennai is indeed worrying. We definitely hope to take Leo's advise and believe that change will happen.
